MORE IS MORE

My name is Michael Drolet, a Greensboro based Interior Design Student at Randolph Community College. As a child, my favorite past time was rearranging furniture in our home.  Although I came up with some pretty interesting layouts that had a creative use of space and flow, my parents didn’t appreciate the hardwood floors of our farmhouse in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania being scratched, as I couldn’t really lift the pieces of furniture I was moving. 

 

My other joy was being on stage, and so, after High School,  I recieved a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.  After an almost 20-year career as a professional stage actor, which included performing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in Los Angeles to 11 years in the Broadway smash Wicked the Musical, I decided it was time for my Act II of life. 

 

As I study Interior Design and use the knowledge I’ve learned by performing in over 100 different cities in the United States and Canada and taking in all of the different inspirations I’ve breathed in along the way.
